Learn the basic skills of how to gather and manipulate molten glass, including basic color applications. Expect to create a paperweight, glass feather and other solid glass objects. If time allows, participants will begin to learn the blowing process. No experience necessary. Participants may want to bring lunch. STARworks Glass visiting artist Michael Hernandez and STARworks Clay Studio resident artist Miroslava Randová will present slides and discuss their work during artist talks at STARworks, Wednesday, July 12 at 5:30 p.m. The presentations are free and open to the public.
