DINNER AT THE DAIRY – 2018 Reservations
Each spring and fall we offer our unique monthly “Dinner at the Dairy”. Your evening begins with Hors d’oeuvres on the porch as guests arrive between 5:30 – 6:00. A tour of the farm begins at 6 PM with dinner to follow around 6:45. The evening concludes around 9:30 PM.
Guests enjoy a five course meal featuring cheese, herbs, vegetables and meats grown and made right here on our farm or other local farms. The evening is concluded with coffee or tea and our famous Chocolate Goat Cheese Truffles. Each course is set ahead of time based upon what is fresh and best that week.
Our meals are served in the rustic atmosphere of our unique dairy barn constructed with pine, oak, poplar and cedar harvested off the farm. Its design is passive solar and post and beam construction finished with reclaimed 100-year-old barn oak.
We are excited about your visit but please read carefully to understand our limitations:
We host a limited number of dining events each year. Sorry, no reservations are held without payment in full. Tickets are $70 per person. Payment will be refunded if your reservation is canceled 7 days prior to the dinner.
We live in a “dry” county so we do not sell alcohol. For Dinner evenings we provide a complimentary glass of wine with our first course and guests are welcome to bring their own wine or beer as long as they also bring a designated driver.
A week prior to your dinner we will send you a reminder notice with our menu including entrée information (for wine pairing and dietary considerations). Because we choose the very freshest ingredients we do not know our complete menu until a few days before the dinner. NOTE TO VEGETARIANS AND OTHERS WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: Please let us know in advance about any food restrictions so we can try to find an alternative.
OUR MEALS ARE A DINING ADVENTURE, NOT A RESTAURANT. If you are inviting guests, please let them know what to expect.
