It’s an “Eggcelent” Time for an Easter Eggstravaganza! Spring has sprung which means it’s time for flowers, bunnies, and Easter eggs of course! The Cultural and Recreation Department with the City of Asheboro will host its annual Easter Eggstravaganza this year at N. Asheboro Park, located at 1939 Canoy Drive.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Children and families are invited to N. Asheboro Park to search for 9,500 colorfully hidden Easter eggs around the park. In addition to hunting for eggs, there will be a street performer, face painting music and more! The egg searching competitions will be split into four sessions for age categories.

The first is for 5-7 year-olds and will begin at 10:30 a.m.

The second round will be for 1-2 and 3-4 year-olds at 11:30 a.m. The last group to search will be 8-10 year-olds at 12:30 p.m.
