Description

The baseball field at South Asheboro Middle School will be transformed into a Field of Honor with 700 U.S. flags posted in perfect rows and columns in tribute of Heroes. Join the Asheboro Rotary Club and the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce during Veterans Day weekend as they present a panorama of Stars and Stripes.

The public may sponsor flags in recognition of Veterans, Active Duty Service Men and Women, First Responders, and personal heroes.

Funds raised will benefit:

  • The Asheboro Rotary Club Foundation
  • The Asheboro/Randolph Chamber Charitable Foundation

Residents are invited to visit the Field of Honor display and walk amid the flags.  Sponsored flags will be tagged with the names of both the sponsor and the Hero to whom it is dedicated.

Flag Sponsor:  $40 (Includes Flag, and inclusion in the “Reading of Names” at the Closing Ceremony)

Flags may be purchased on-site at the Field of Honor on Saturday, November 9th (10am-6pm), Sunday, November 10th (10am-6pm) and Monday, November 11th (9am-10am)  We regret that flag purchases after 6PM Sunday, November 10th are ineligible for inclusion in the “Reading of the Names” at the Closing Ceremony.
